Select People Solutions is searching for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and people-focused HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, coordinating day-to-day HR activities, and keeping processes running smoothly. Compensation & Hours:
• The rate of pay will be based off experience and industry standards
• Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Position Summary:
• Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
• Support recruitment activities including job postings, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling
• Assist with employee inquiries, policy administration, and day-to-day HR support
• Coordinate training, performance management, and other employee-related documentation and processes
• Support HR initiatives, reporting, compliance requirements, and special projects as required
Required Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related administrative role
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable manner
• High degree of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HRIS and other workplace systems
Bonus Points For:
• Working toward or holding a CPHR designation
• Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or benefits administration
• Knowledge of Alberta employment standards and general HR best practices
