Select People Solutions is hiring a Production Technician on behalf of our agricultural client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced production environment, and is comfortable working a changing shift schedule.

Compensation & Hours: 

•    Pay Rate: $23/hour (+ shift premiums) 

•    Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with optional overtime and occasional Saturdays

•    Permanent Night shifts outside of training period

Position Summary: 

•    Perform production activities including cleaning, sizing, treating, packaging, palletizing, wrapping, and sampling 

•    Assist with shipping, receiving, warehousing, and movement of product throughout the facility 

•    Operate forklifts and other equipment safely, with training provided as required 

•    Complete general repairs and minor preventative maintenance as directed 

•    Support inventory management, rework, and documentation across production areas 

•    Complete accurate safety, quality, production, and inventory records 

•    Maintain clean, organized work areas while following established safety and quality procedures

Required Qualifications: 

•    Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and have access to a reliable personal vehicle; candidates who do not meet both requirements cannot be considered

•    High School Diploma 

•    Previous forklift experience or willingness and ability to learn 

•    Strong safety awareness and attention to detail 

•    Comfortable using computers for basic data entry and tracking 

•    Reliable attendance with the ability to work the required shift schedule 

•    Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods 

•    Steel-toe boots and work gloves require

Bonus Points For: 

•    Valid forklift certification 

•    Previous experience in seed cleaning/handling, agriculture, warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environments 

•    Familiarity with production agriculture
